Gender Affirming Letters

Eliminating barriers to accessing gender affirming care.

Strengths based | Trauma informed | Empowering | Covered by OHP

Fees, Insurance, and Financial Transparency

140.00 45-50 minute session
165.00 53-60 minute session

I am in network with PacificSource and Aetna, however, these contracts will terminate on 1/1/25. For all other insurance companies, I will provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance company and if you have out-of network benefits they will reimburse you directly. I am able to bill Oregon Health Plan for gender affirming surgery assessments only.

I charge a 2.75% transaction fee for all card based transactions.

My late cancellation policy is 24 hours, each client is granted two freebies and after this I charge the full cost of a 50 minute session.

As an anti-oppressed based therapist, accessibility and financial transparency are important tenets of my work. I spent nearly ten years of my career as an in-network provider with insurance companies with the hopes of making my services more accessible. Unfortunately, private insurance companies are profit driven corporations who consistently create barriers such as low reimbursement rates, threats of audits, poor customer service, and delayed reimbursements. As a result, I am moving away from an insurance based system of reimbursement. I believe in a functional and government run universal health care system for all and I hope to see this in my lifetime.
